Heat Stroke is a disease of theBody.Rise in body temperature due to
exposure to direct environmental heat or hot winds is Heat stroke.

Heat stroke can kill or cause brain and other
damage to the internal organs.

Heat stroke also known as Sunstroke, Hyperthermia, Loo Lagna, Lu Lagana, Sarsam, Tapaghat thumb

Symptoms of Heat Stroke
Show:The hallmark symptom of heat stroke is a core body temperature above 105 degrees
Fahrenheit. But fainting may be the first sign.

#Other symptoms may include:

Dry Skin
Heat Stroke
Skin Become Hot
Rapid Heart Rate
Muscle Weakness
Sudden very High Fever
Profuse Sweating

Treatment for Heat stroke as FirtAid
Show: #Onion ( Pyaz ) has a property to absorb heat from body.Grind a Onion ( Pyaz ). Apply paste on forehead for half an

#Take 50 gram fresh Fenugreek ( Methi ) Leaves. Soak in half jug
of cold water for 2 hours. Crush the leaves and strain. Drink after
every 2 hours.

#Tamarind ( Imli ) Seeds for Heat Stroke Grind Tamarind ( Imli ) Seeds
with water. Filter. Add sugar for taste. Drink it once or twice a day.

#Mango ( Aam ) is rich in Pectin which fights against heat stroke
effectively. Take a raw Mango ( Aam ). Roast it. Peel and wash with fresh water. Crush it properly in a glass of cold water.
Fenugreek Filter. Add sugar, powdered
Black Pepper ( Kali Mirch ),
roasted cumin ( Jeera ) powder and salt. Drink it once a day. In India it is called 'Panna".

#Soak 1 tsp Basil (tulsi) seeds in a cup of water for 6 hours. Have these seeds with Cold Milk or
Rose water.

#Yogurt ( Dahi ) for Heat Stroke. Take 100 ml beaten Yogurt. Add
1 glass cold water in it. Mix well. Drink it with your meal. In India,
it is called "Lassi".

#Oil ( Nariyal ka Tel ) for
Heat Stroke Massage the scalp of the patient
with Coconut Oil ( Nariyal ka Tel ). It helps in normalising the
body temperature.

If a person wants, he can practice
#1. "Alternate Breathing" exercise - Anulom-Vilom Pranayam
-- This will normalize a person's body temp .

#2. Practice "Sheetali Pranayam" on a regular basis.
- A Breathing exercise specifically developed to reduce the Body temp.

How to do It :
(Preferably) sit in a comfortable position with eyes closed
Rollup your tongue like a pipe
Breath in slowly through it
Hold in your breath for 5-6 seconds
Breath out from your nostrils slowly.
Repeat as many times as you like

Precaution :
Not to be done after meals or immediately after drinking any kind of fluids.

Heat Stroke is a very critical disease and it can be cured permanently by the treatment with acupuncture. At our acupuncture lorne park clinic we have treated various people suffering from this problem.
